Moore Sailboats

Hi to Moore 24 Fleet:

I really enjoyed the pictures of the Nationals. Looked like great racing.

Do you guys think I am retired? For from true!
This summer has been busy. Just got through with a new bottom pain job on Moore 24 #19 Cadenza. We also built a new Moore 24 rudder. Earlier this summer we finished a repair on a Cape Dory 25 for Dick Galland. It was damaged in the 'Surge' at the Santa Cruz harbor. The reason 'Dick Galland's' name my be familiar is he worked for me during the production of Moore 24's #40 through #58.

Next week I am off to Paradise to pick up the Express 27 Rudder Mold.

I am busy working with a engineer consulting and will soon be fabricating a vault to house astronomical equipment that will be used in So. Africa.

Moore Sailboats is very interested in finding the new owner of the last UCSC SC Moore 24 that was recently sold. We did a complete survey of that boat and are very aware of its condition and the needed repairs. Can the fleet help me in contacting the new owner? Whoever it is got quite a deal!

What would a new Moore 24 cost? I'll build it if you are serious. There is no finer 24 ft. racing class. I am very proud of the design and the quality. You are the lucky boat owners. Take care of your investment.
